Join us for another Fun Friday Movie night featuring one of the most beautifully shot films ever, Samsara. Filmed over nearly five years in twenty-five countries on five continents, and shot on seventy-millimetre film, Samsara transports us to the varied worlds of sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial complexes, and natural wonders. Each painstakingly shot sequence and beautifully rendered frame speaks volumes — presenting a fascinating riddle of humanist metaphors and allegories.
Do you need a little fun and upliftment? Fun Fridays are our opportunity to share the Light through a variety of community gatherings sponsored by our members. It will involve all the essential elements of fun for us as aspiring yogis: satsang and upliftment. (Oh, and we will throw in delicious food too! )It will be expressed in a variety of forms from kirtan, to movies, cooking, and other creative applications.
