Join guest ministers Jitendra and Brahmachari Sagar from Ananda Village for an uplifting and joy-filled Easter Celebration as we enjoy the beauty and quiet of the Springhill Retreat Center located in Richardson, Texas.

This four day, three night retreat offers numerous avenues to deepen your connection with Jesus Christ and Paramhansa Yogananda, as we explore the deeper meaning of Easter. Not to mention ample time for meditation and nature in this wonderful, immersive natural setting. On Sunday everyone is invited to join us for Sunday Service and a celebration of Easter that will include an egg hunt for children and adults alike!

You will have the opportunity to experience:

  • Full length classes with Jitendra and Sagar, based on Yogananda’s Bible  commentaries
  • Yoga sadhanas and meditations
  • Ceremonies, including the Purification Ceremony and Easter 
  • Sunday Service
  • Kirtan, bonfire, and gathering to watch a recorded offering of Swami Kriyananda’s Christ Lives Oratorio, performed at Ananda Village.
  • Time for seclusion, silence and introspection
  • Group activities, sharing and satsang
  • With special dietary needs taken into consideration.
  • Establishing new friendships and deepening existing ones

CANCELLATION POLICY: ACCOMMODATIONS:50% refund if cancelled by March 14th. All other guest cancellations after March 14th are nonrefundable as we are within the cancellation policy window of the facility. PASSES AND BANQUET: All guest passes and banquet tickets are nonrefundable. If retreat is cancelled due to an act of God, government mandate, etc., we will reschedule the event and your registration is automatically transferred. Credit will be given if you cannot participate in rescheduled event.
 
Registration is now closed for onsite overnight accommodations. Participants can stay off-site on their own and purchase Two-day passes.  The Two-day passes are now available and include all sadhanas, classes and meals for Friday and Saturday and the Easter Banquet. Easter Sunday Banquet tickets are also available separately. If you’d like suggestions for nearby hotels please email [email protected]. 
 
ALL DAY PASS AND BANQUET REGISTRATIONS MUST BE MADE  BY MONDAY, APRIL 11th.

COVID-19 Protocol

Following current local and state guidelines, we encourage everyone to join us that is healthy and symptom-free of fever and other outward signs of sickness. If any symptoms occur just prior to the retreat, we request that infected participants responsibly get COVID tested.  Masks and social distancing are encouraged indoors for those unvaccinated. In general, protocol relies on personal responsibility and discretion at this time.

About our Presenters

Brahmachari Sagar resides in the Ananda Monastery located at Ananda Village in Northern California. Born into a family of kriya yogis, Sagar read Paramhansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi at a young age, an influence that culminated in his decision to serve Yogananda’s mission through Ananda. Sagar led Ananda’s work in Mumbai for about five years and has served Ananda’s work in India and the US as a teacher and counselor to students and as a meditation and stress-relief workshop facilitator for corporates. Sagar currently serves in Ananda’s Online Ministry. He is one of the principal instructors for the Ananda Course in Meditation and has helped create several online offerings such as the full-length courses The Yoga Teachings of JesusKarma and Reincarnation and the webinars The Anatomy of the Astral BodyLosing the Fear of Death Through the Science of Yoga, and How to Stand Unshaken amidst Life’s Challenges. Prior to commencing his life of service at Ananda, Sagar was a graduate student with full scholarship at Boston University and holds advanced degrees in Engineering.

Jitendra Guidon, Director of Online with Ananda’s Online Outreach ministry, is a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda living at Ananda Village in Northern California. While serving with Ananda, he enjoys spreading the ancient teachings of Yoga to all truth seekers around the world and look forward to connecting with new friends from different backgrounds and affiliations. After reading Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda, Jitendra began his journey with the teachings and meditation in 2006. He continues to feel the inner transformation that comes with the power of the techniques. He is a certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200). Jitendra is originally from Rhode Island, where he helped lead the Ananda Yoga and Meditation Center and aided in spreading the path of Self-realization in Boston and New York City. He has taught meditation in diverse settings including yoga studios, colleges, high schools, rehabilitation centers and more.
