This interactive class series is Ananda’s most comprehensive study of yoga principles, intended for anyone who wants to understand Yoga—and life—more deeply.
The course is based on the book, The Art and Science of Raja Yoga by Swami Kriyananda, as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda.
Each class starts with yoga postures for all experience levels then we’ll move on to pranayama & meditation and finish with the philosophy behind it all. Taught by a variety of teachers most of whom have nearly 20 years experience or more in practicing and presenting these teachings.
This course is required in order to be initiated into the Path of Kriya yoga as brought by Paramhansa Yogananda.
The course will consists of:
Seven Thursday evenings: 5:15pm – 8:30pm
Two Saturday workshops: 10:30am – 3:30pm
Typical Thursday evening flow:
5:15 – 5:30pm – Energization
5:30 – 6:30pm – Yoga Postures
6:30 – 7:00pm – Chanting & Meditation
7:00 – 7:15pm – Break
7:15 – 8:30pm – Philosophy

Cost
- $249 for the entire course
