#GivingTuesday  is Tuesday, Dec 2nd!

Giving Tuesday marks the official end of our FUNdraising season for Ananda in Texas. It’s the last of our three major fundraisers we hold in the second half of the year. Join the global generosity movement of Giving Tuesday that encourages people to do good and give back to their communities. It is held annually on the first Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving, following the commercial shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

This year, your contributions to Ananda Texas will support our ongoing efforts to keep the light shining bright for Yogananda’s teachings here in Texas. More specifically, funds will help us stabilize our budget when our lease renews in January, with a rent increase of 6.5%.

Additional plans include continuing our outdoor beautification projects and preparing to hire a new administrative assistant as part of upcoming leadership changes in early 2026.

This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card.
Kroger donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations.
