Aum is the universal path to Spirit. It is the melody of love itself. It is the bridge that unites human consciousness and all of the natural world to God’s consciousness. Aum is the stream of God’s consciousness that we can merge our awareness into, discovering our own highest nature. In this class we will explore the inner sounds generated from this cosmic vibration and come into a better understanding of this powerful force that animates this world we live in. Those qualified* to receive the Aum technique can receive it after completing this course.

Paramhansa Yogananda said, “When you are in AUM, nothing can touch you.” This whole universe is God’s dream. The dream was made possible by the manifestation of the Cosmic Vibration. All things in Creation are manifestations of AUM. When you are in tune with that vibration, no matter what devastating events occur around you, you will be protected—miraculously, it will seem.
When a person is absorbed in AUM, the cosmic dream adapts to his needs. Everything in Creation is a product of that vibration. We, too, are its manifestations—little vibrations of AUM. One of the best, and also the easiest, paths to God is to allow ourselves to become absorbed in that Cosmic Sound—to merge our little egos in that universal reality.
