March 8: Shivaratri!
March 15: Movie night
March 22: 3 hour med

Join us for this most auspicious night commemorating Yogananda’s and Sri Yukestwar Mahasamadhis, sandwiched between two other powerful dates of our line of gurus. We will chant and meditate invoking the blessings of the masters and of Shiva. Through our combined self-offering and sincere deovotion we will surely draw the grace to break through many obstacles!

Tonight’s meditation/kirtan is in honor of Lord Shiva, symbolic of the destructive force in creation, sometimes feared but also needed to clear away the old and make room for new beginnings.

Shivaratri is the night when Shiva is said to have performed the dance of primordial creation, preservation and destruction. It is also the day Shiva was married to the goddess Parvati. The ‘Great Night of Shiva’, marks the convergence of Shiva and Shakti, divine feminine energy. We will invoke Shiva’s supreme power through meditation and chanting.
