Ananda in Texas is in transition. A MUCH WELCOMED transition as we now have a new home starting Sept 1! Still it is going to take us some time to get our new Sangha House (as we are calling it) and environs spiffed up for a true “opening.” So please note the following transition schedule for our Sunday Service Satsangs in September:

  • Sept. 2rd IN-PERSON ONLY informal gathering/meditation at Ananda Sangha House, 320 East Phillips St, Richardson TX 75081
  • Sept 11th ONLINE ONLY with Sagar Shenvi from Ananda Village
  • Sept 18th IN-PERSON ONLY informal gathering/meditation at Ananda Sangha House
  • Sept 25th at UNITY CHURCH on Forest Lane with special guest speaker, Nayaswami Pranaba (this will also be livestreamed) IN-PERSON AND ONLINE

PLEASE NOTE: We will have an IN-PERSON blessing and satsang later on Sunday, Sept 25th from 4:30-6pm at our new Ananda Sangha House. We hope you will join us for this special gathering!

Brahmachari Sagar resides in the Ananda Monastery located at Ananda Village in Northern California. Born into a family of kriya yogis, Sagar read Paramhansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi at a Sagar with Online with Ananda. anandadallas.orgyoung age, an influence that culminated in his decision to serve Yogananda’s mission through Ananda. Sagar led Ananda’s work in Mumbai for about five years and has served Ananda’s work in India and the US as a teacher and counselor to students and as a meditation and stress-relief workshop facilitator for corporates. Sagar currently serves in Ananda’s Online Ministry. He is one of the principal instructors for the Ananda Course in Meditation and has helped create several online offerings such as the full-length courses The Yoga Teachings of JesusKarma and Reincarnation and the webinars The Anatomy of the Astral BodyLosing the Fear of Death Through the Science of Yoga, and How to Stand Unshaken amidst Life’s Challenges. Prior to commencing his life of service at Ananda, Sagar was a graduate student with full scholarship at Boston University and holds advanced degrees in Engineering.
