Maitri Smithhisler, E-RYT500 leads an Ananda Yoga practice that is gentle and suitable for beginners.
Ananda Yoga Sadhana is a complete practice including Paramhansa Yogananda’s Energization exercises, Ananda Yoga for Higher Awareness for 45 minutes to an hour, followed by chanting and meditation for 30 minutes.
Ananda Yoga is an inward balanced approach to Hatha Yoga emphasizing dynamic relaxation through the various postures, combined with breathing techniques and mental focus. The result is physical rejuvenation, mental clarity and a deeper sense of inner peace. Suitable for all levels, wear comfortable clothing.
This IN-PERSON class is only offered on a monthly pass basis at the beginning of each month. Preregistration required. No drop-ins, no refunds or credits for classes missed.
