Welcome to Fun Fridays!  This week’s theme is Restorative Yoga.

In Restorative Yoga you are able to benefit from postures while being completely supported which allows you to:

*let go of chronic stress in the body
*still the mind and experience Calmness
*access Inner Peace
*listen to your soul’s Inner Guidance

Through the use of supporting blankets, bolsters and pillows, the body can more fully relax into each posture while laying on the floor, thus relaxing muscles more than ever before. Inspirational music and guided visualizations help the mind to stay focused, enjoy calmness and be restored ~ the soul qualities of your Highest Self are awakened. No previous yoga experience is needed to enjoy the benefits of this nurturing practice.

Do you need a little fun and upliftment? Fun Fridays are our opportunity to share the Light through a variety of community gatherings sponsored by our members. It will involve all the essential elements of fun for us as aspiring yogis: satsang and upliftment. (Oh, and we will throw in delicious food too! )It will be expressed in a variety of forms from kirtan, to movies, cooking, and other creative applications.
